Plans are set for our Annual Membership Meeting at Senior Coastsiders, 925 Main St., HMB on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 4 PM – 6 PM.
We will have attorney and author Joe Cotchett as our guest speaker. Recently he was a guest on KQED Forum and he was both knowledgeable and entertaining and extremely articulate on the causes of political back sliding happening in this country.

eph W. Cotchett is known to be one of the foremost trial lawyers in the country. He is “considered one of the best trial strategists in the state” who built a career out of representing the underdog against powerful interests. In recent years, Cotchett has taken on major corporate entities and Wall Street and has been generous in his time with extensive pro bono work, including support for Surfrider Foundation and the Martin’s Beach access.
He is the author of numerous articles and books, including “The People vs Greed” which
we hope to have him speak about at our meeting. It is especially poignant in this time of GOP control of our national affairs.
Mr. Cotchett’s no holds barred prose reveals the systemic greed, corruption and theft that affect our daily lives, from our “bought” electorate to our tainted food supply.
