San Mateo County Democratic Party Newsletter

MARCH 2017

Dear Democrats —

Democrats, let’s March ahead!  There are so many ways to get more active with the San Mateo County Democratic Party, with Chartered Democratic Clubs and with local progressive community organizations.

I hope that every one of you commits to at least one event or activity this month.  Everyone’s help is needed to turn the Republican tide in the United States and keep California Democratically strong.

As always, the County Democratic Party holds its Monthly Meeting every third Thursday at the Transport Workers Union Local 505 Meeting Hall at 1521 Rollins Road in Burlingame.

March 16, 2017 – Social from 7:00 to 7:30 pm and Meeting from 7:30 – 9:30 pm.

Please come to learn what is happening, to learn about volunteer opportunities and meet some great Democrats.

Other Upcoming Events include:

Mobilize San Mateo County – Learn more about Democratic Party committees, activities and events.  Event details TBA but watch the website and Facebook for more details.

On Saturday April 29 from 10 am to 4 pm, we’re holding a Strategic Planning Workshop.  The Workshop will be held at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union (IBEW) 617 at 1701 Leslie Street in San Mateo. A $10 donation is requested to cover lunch.

We’ll brainstorm ways to set and achieve goals for the County Democratic Party including getting more Democrats elected, increasing the numbers of active volunteers, registered voters and informed community members.  Join us for an important planning event.  Your input and ideas are welcome and needed.

Watch the SMCDems website www.smcdems.org and social media for more information about both these April events.

Here’s some Convention News:
