  • We will set up a nominating committee for board members and leadership positions. If you would like to serve, please email declubcoastside@gmail.com.
  • Per the Bylaws, the membership year starts on May 1. Membership dues must be current in order to vote at any meeting. All members must be present to vote and must have been a member for at least 30 days prior to the election.
  • The past six months have been full of interesting meetings, but there have been significant costs. Our major expenditures are for the website, PO Box, renting the library and community center, publicity, and paper goods. All hospitality items are donated by board and club members.   • In order to continue serving the needs of the membership, the Board voted to increase dues. Any potential members who cannot afford these amounts can reach out for a discounted membership.

Club members voted on Sunday 25 February to endorse Marc Berman for Assembly, Josh Becker for State Senate, and April Vargas, Maryanne Moise, and Victoria Sanchez de Alba for Democratic Central Committee. No candidate for Congress received the 60% of the vote required to receive an endorsement.
