Congressman Liccardo Holds Coastside Town Hall

Club Annual Meeting on 9 May 2025
On Friday, 9 May 2025 from 17:00 to 19:00 please join us for the Annual Meeting of the Coastside Democratic Club at Vinoteca in downtown Half Moon Bay. We will review the last year’s successes and challenges so the membership will know what their club has accomplished, and we will be joined by County Supervisor Ray Mueller who will discuss what he and the county have done for the Coastside during the last year and his plans for the coming one.
As mandated by the club bylaws, each membership year of the club begins in May with an Annual Meeting. As befits a club about democracy, we elect a new Executive Board at each year’s meeting. All club members in good standing—meaning with dues fully paid—who have been members for at least 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting are eligible to vote at the meeting. A Nominating Committee has assembled a roster of candidates for the seven board positions:
President — Barbara Dye
Vice President — Tyler Stone
Secretary — Claire Giovannetti
Treasurer — John Dye
At-Large #1 — Barbara Lohman
At-Large #2 — Maryann Moise
At-Large #3 — Robert Brownstone
Nominations may also be made at the meeting from the floor by any club member. If the floor nomination is seconded by two other club members, the candidate will be added to the ballot.
Speaking of bylaws, a Bylaws Committee has proposed a number of modifications aimed at clarifying club activities and functions. The changes will be reviewed and voted upon at the Annual Meeting.
The Annual Meeting is open to the public. Coastside residents are welcome to attend, though only club members in good standing with membership established at least 30 days prior to the meeting are eligible to vote for the Board and for the bylaws revisions.
